National Campus Safety Month

The University of South Florida Police Department, USF Department of Emergency Management, and the USF Community Emergency Response Team are hosting safety education events and training for students, faculty, and staff throughout September as part of National Campus Safety Awareness Month. Promoted by the Clery Center, in 2008, National Campus Safety Awareness Month (NCSAM) was unanimously approved by Congress to encourage a public conversation on important topics in violence prevention at our nation's colleges and universities. The Clery Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to guiding institutions of higher education to implement effective campus safety measures.

Emergency Management and the USF Police Department will be at Bull Market every Wednesday in September providing preparedness information and bicycle and property registration.

See below for a schedule of personal safety and emergency preparedness training and events being held at USF as part of NCSAM.
